Free Live Music in Downtown Hartford on Wednesday Afternoons

HARTFORD, CT, August 9, 2021 – Constitution Plaza in Downtown Hartford will see the return of live music on Wednesday, August 11 at 12 pm. The Audio Feed Music Series’ local, original performances will be presented at no charge through October every Wednesday afternoon from 12 pm to 1 pm, weather permitting*.

The Audio Feed series is hosted by Hartford.com and presented by Capital Community College. After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic in 2020, the highly popular lunchtime music series will return for its fifth iteration, with performances taking place by the beautiful central fountain on Constitution Plaza.

“We are very excited to bring back more live music in a safe setting to the City of Hartford,” says Chip McCabe, the Hartford Business Improvement District’s Director of Placemaking & Events. “This series has always showcased amazing artists in a fantastic environment. We are also very grateful to have Capital Community College as this year’s presenting sponsor. This series would not exist without their generous support.”

The full line-up and schedule of musicians for the 2021 season can be found at Hartford.com/AudioFeed. Some of the confirmed artists include (in alphabetical order): New Haven indie rock artist S.G. Carlson; New Haven alt country artist Stefanie Clark Harris; reggae artist I Anbassa; Hartford soul/jazz/R&B artist Orice Jenkins; Hartford jazz/funk group The Miles Elliot Experience; classical guitarist Glenn Roth; and classical flautist Tracy Norkun.

*In case of rain, a performance will be rescheduled to a later date.
