Friday, August 14,  8:30 a.m.: Pre-show (which truly is the time for everyone to get logged in) / 9:00 a.m.: Celebration

You will view the Celebration on either YouTube or Facebook Live.  The links to both options will be emailed to you no later than 8/13.

There is no cost to join us for the ResearcHERS Celebration, but if you are able and so inclined, DONATIONS ARE NEEDED MORE THAN EVER due to a cancer research funding crisis created by the pandemic.

Register for the event.

The American Cancer Society is the largest private, nonprofit funder of cancer research in the U.S.  For the first time since its inception in 1946, our research budget is in jeopardy due to the global pandemic.

What’s at risk?

  • A generation of cancer research lost
  • A lack of funding could deter early-stage investigators from the cancer research field
  • Better understanding of health disparities, what causes them and how to decrease them. This year ACS is slated to fund nearly 60 health equity research grants.
