Wheeler’s Foster Care team is collecting new back-to-school supplies for children and youth in foster care. Items will be accepted through August 12, 2021, and may be dropped off at 88 East Street, Plainville, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 3 pm.

New items are needed, including folders; notebooks—1, 3, 5 subject; book covers; pens and pencils; crayons; markers, glue and glue sticks; scissors, book bags, erasers, and pencil boxes; index cards; highlighters, rulers, binders, and pencil sharpeners. Cash donations also will
be accepted. If individuals cannot drop off items on the days/times above, they may contact Wheeler’s Foster Care Team at 860.793.7277 or FosterCarePrograms@wheelerclinic.org and the team will arrange an alternate date and time.
