The Connecticut Health Council is honored to have the opportunity to help Foodshare distribute food during their drive through on September 16th and 17th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

If you are unable to volunteer, please feel free to share the registration information below with a colleague who may be available on one of these dates. Volunteering for Foodshare is just a small way the Council is able to give back to our community.  Please register by Friday, September 11th.

During this pandemic, Foodshare has served more than 135,000 households over the past four months at its drive-thru food distribution at Rentschler Field.  Foodshare relies heavily on volunteers to get food out to people who need it.

Foodshare will be very grateful for the donation of your time to support their mission of ending hunger in greater Hartford.
