Easterseals Cancels Annual Crystal Ball Due To COVID-19 Crisis
March 16, Windsor, CT – As a healthcare provider and out of an abundance of caution given the current community health concerns regarding COVID 19, Easterseals will not be hosting its Crystal Ball, an annual fundraising gala event ,on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
“The health needs of our community are obviously the immediate priority,” Dr. Allen Gouse, Easterseals’ President & CEO, stated. “Not hosting this fundraiser will impact our delivery of life changing services, so we are hopeful that all of our sponsors and donors will stand with us during these challenging times. Many local and regional businesses have already affirmed their continuing support even without the fundraising event, and we are heartened by their civic-minded generosity.”
CARF accredited, Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut is an award-winning nonprofit organization with facilities in Windsor, East Hartford, and Norwich. The organization has been serving children, seniors, veterans and adults, in the state of Connecticut, with disability and barriers for over 70 years.
