Connecticut has 4 FTZs that cover it’s 3 major ports (Bridgeport, New Haven & New London) as well as Windsor Locks Zone #71 which covers 5 counties under a program known as the Alternative Site Framework. Though we have subzones at 2 of the 4 zones, the benefits and resources available to Connecticut companies under the FTZ program are still largely unknown to many of our State’s companies and transportation professionals.
