The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is creating a virtual exhibit of young artists’ work that reflects the energy and emotions of the current moment in our history. The Foundation is inviting anyone 13-19 years old who lives in its 29-town Greater Hartford region to participate by submitting a piece of artwork that captures their thoughts and experiences during this difficult time.

The Hartford Foundation’s Artists of Color advisory group will select several entries from the exhibit to be featured during our annual donor and stakeholder event on November 10th.

To complete a submission form, upload digital files or photos, or find locations to drop off artwork in person, log onto www.hfpg.org/artinaction. The deadline for submissions is October 17. For additional information, contact Tom Zeleznock at tzeleznock@hfpg.org.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is the community foundation for Hartford and 28 surrounding communities. Made possible by the gifts of generous individuals, families, and organizations, the Foundation has awarded grants of more than $795 million since its founding in 1925.
