HARTFORD – Interval House has announced its 2021 “Purple With A Purpose” events in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The events–spread throughout the month of October–are designed to remember victims lost, honor survivors, and celebrate those who support Interval House clients on their journey to survivorhood, namely advocates and donors. All events are aimed at increasing awareness and garnering financial support for Interval House’s confidential and compassionate services for victims of abuse.

“Every October we raise our voices loud and proud on behalf of our clients past, present, and future to let them know we are here for them and that there is never any excuse for abuse,” said Mary-Jane Foster, President and CEO. “This year is no different and we will be fanning out into several communities we serve, relying on our supporters to help us spread the word and reach those who need to hear our message.”
