Whittlesey partner Lisa Wills was named one of Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) Distinguished Women. The award recognizes the many contributions CPA women are making in the state.

Lisa has over 30 years of accounting service and joined the Firm in 2015. She specializes in assurance services for nonprofits, educational institutions, and governmental organizations. Lisa is the leader of Whittlesey’s nonprofit niche and co-leader of Women of Whittlesey. She also serves on nonprofit boards, is active in local youth organizations, and is a coach and mentor to the Firm’s staff. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Management from Elms College.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes women CPAs with over 15 years of experience with a proven track record of success. Winners must have made significant contributions to the profession, contributed to their community, and mentored other professionals.
