YMCA of Greater Hartfords 21st Annual Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament, presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast, will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at TPC River Highlands.

(May 3, 2022, Hartford, CT) – Throughout its 170-year history, the YMCA of Greater Hartford has been transforming the lives of thousands of children every year at its summer camps thanks to fundraising events such as the 21st Annual “Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast on July 25,2022.  Last year’s tournament raised a record-breaking $150,000, giving hundreds of youth seeking financial assistance the chance to attend a Y camp where they enjoyed an “experience of a lifetime.”

“I cannot overstate how awesome an experience YMCA Camp Jewell was for my kids. Both went way beyond their comfort zones to try new things and they LOVED it! The counselors made a huge difference for my children’s self-confidence and growth. Thank you, Camp Jewell!” said a parent of Camp Jewell campers.

The social-emotional growth kids experience at camp is crucial, especially during these challenging times. The YMCA of Greater Hartford works to ensure every youth can attend camp, regardless of their ability to pay, to explore the outdoors, be active, make new friends, build confidence, and develop leadership skills.

The “Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament takes place on Monday, July 25, at TPC River Highlands. For sponsorship and/or participation information please go to www.ghymca.org/golf.
