The Rising Star Breakfast Series
Serve several purposes: a venue for networking; topics and speakers that enhance our understanding of ideas and issues that influence the economic vitality of the Region; and an opportunity for the sponsor of the breakfast to talk briefly about a matter of interest and to introduce the speaker. In addition, the speaker has the opportunity to submit an op-ed piece for The Hartford Courant to consider publishing in its weekly Commentary section.

Federal Issues Symposium:
This program is offered as a unique opportunity for our members to meet with experts on various federal policy issues that directly impact us both professionally and in our personal lives as well. It entails a densely scheduled two-day agenda of policy briefings and social events in our nation's capitol. Past speakers have included members of our Congressional delegation and their lead policy staff, as well as members of the press corps, federal agencies and the Democratic and Republican National Committees. Issue areas of focus typically include insurance, energy, health care and national security.
