November 5th, The American Heart Association will host this virtual event to bring together a community committed to saving and improving lives from heart disease and stroke. Young at Heart will celebrate the work of donors, volunteers, the lives improved and saved, as well as inspiring speakers such as Connecticut’s own Geno Auriemma. Hosted by Kara Sundlun, WFSB News Anchor and Better Connecticut co-host, there will also be a cooking demonstration by Top Chef All-Star, Richard Blais.

The program includes a remembrance of Denise D’Ascenzo by Dennis House, Heart Transplant Survivor Andrew Jones, and an educational moment about heart health.

This fundraising event will help lifesaving research, support health and education initiatives in our community, improve the quality of care in our hospitals, and advocate for healthy policies.
