Charter Oak State College to hold Commencement Ceremony for 2022 graduates on June 5, 2022

In-Person event at Bushnell Theatre, Hartford, CT

 

NEW BRITAIN, CT – May 8, 2022 – Charter Oak State College (www.CharterOak.edu), Connecticut’s public online college, will hold its 2022 commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 11AM ET.  The annual celebration of graduates returns to an in-person event to be held at The Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford, CT.

Degrees will be conferred to approximately 565 students.  This year’s speaker and Honorary Degree Recipient will be Cynthia James, Charter Oak Alumnus, of Middletown, CT.

Bonnie Wheeler was selected to represent the graduating class as the 2022 Student Speaker. She is a resident of Torrington, CT and is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a Concentration in Applied Behavior Science: Psychology.

The entire event will be streamed live for graduates and their families who are unable to attend or prefer to celebrate at home.
