Hartford, CT – Chrysalis Center Real Estate Corporation (CCREC) is pleased to announce the opening of “Courtland Arms” a new housing development located at 57 Court Street in downtown New Britain. CCREC preserves and develops housing throughout the State of Connecticut and is the sister company to Chrysalis Center, a 43 year old social services organization with its main headquarters in Hartford, CT.
Originally built in 1910, the historic five-story building, which sat vacant for 25 years, underwent a complete renovation which now includes 24 individual one-bedroom apartment units, a community room, laundry facility and onsite parking.
“We have received tremendous feedback from the City of New Britain, our neighbors and the community on the transformation of the building. A once eyesore to downtown is now a gem and asset” said Sharon L. Castelli, CEO of Chrysalis Center, Inc and Chrysalis Center Real Estate Corporation.
CCREC will be offering individual tours in lieu of a Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening due to COVID 19. While this was a difficult decision, the organization believes the safety of the community is a top priority.
