Chrysalis Center Real Estate Corporation (CCREC) is pleased to announce, “Courtland Arms”, its newest housing development located in downtown New Britain, has won a 2021 Merit Award from Preservation Connecticut.

The award, which will be presented virtually on May 5, honors “outstanding efforts in the preservation and enhancement of historic places throughout Connecticut, with the goal of inspiring others to take similar action.”

“Thank you to Preservation Connecticut for this wonderful honor,” said Sharon L. Castelli, CEO of Chrysalis Center, Inc. and CCREC. “We are grateful to our wonderful project partners in helping to transform this once vacant and abandoned building to a magnificent place many now call HOME.”

Project partners include: Housing Enterprises, Paul B Bailey Architect PAC Group LLC Civil 1, To Design Morrissey Engineers AZTECH Architects & Engineers and Home Energy Technologies  and Architectural Historian, James Sexton, Ph.D.
