On Wednesday, July 14, ConnectiCare partnered with Travelers Championship and Operation Shower to host a baby shower for 40 military moms-to-be. The expecting moms are spouses or partners of deployed service members from the National Guard and local bases, including the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, or in some cases, are active duty service members themselves.
Since 2014, ConnectiCare has been committed to bringing Operation Shower to expectant moms in recognition of their service and sacrifice. This year, in honor of ConnectiCare’s 40th Anniversary, 10 employee volunteers participated in the event. Andi Campbell, Chief Growth Officer at WellSpark, a ConnectiCare subsidiary, greeted moms at the event.
