Today, Senator Blumenthal’s office hosted a webinar with MetroHartford Alliance investors to discuss Congress’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. For the short-term, he emphasized creating security for families facing unemployment and income insecurity and for businesses facing lost revenue and fighting for their financial lives. For the medium-term, he discussed housing issues and potential finance issues for state and local government, as well as making the transition from disaster relief to economic stimulus. For the long-term, he talked about combining resources for businesses and workers with a larger infrastructure plan.
