Soar with Captain Supertooth

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…Captain Supertooth!

The Captain is known for being faster than a tooth chip repair. More powerful than a dentist’s drill. And, able to leap a patient’s chair in a single bound! And he’s also known for being BFFs with your dentist and the Tooth Fairy!

The Captain, along with his BFFs, also happens to love the month of February. This month is significant to our oral health superhero, Captain Supertooth because it’s the time of year he soars into action to remind all of us just how important it is to celebrate our teeth and keep them healthy!

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month – and while keeping our smiles healthy all year long is important, we also get to celebrate the smiles of the kids in our lives for an entire month.

Typically, Captain Supertooth spends the month of February touring schools, teaching pre-k through first graders about the importance of taking care of their teeth, eating nutritious foods, and visiting the dentist.

Although this year’s tour has been postponed, the Captain wants to make sure kids can still hear his message – safely.

So, this Children’s Dental Health Month, we’ve put together a free Captain Supertooth educational toolkit. Our toolkit contains coloring pages, word searches and jumbles, and videos featuring the Captain. Whether you are an educator, parent, or caregiver, this toolkit can help you engage the youngsters in your life about keeping smiles healthy.

Up for a Toothbrushing and Flossing Challenge?

Download our Captain Supertooth inspired Toothbrushing and Flossing Chart, available in both English and Spanish, to track how often the kids in your life are brushing and flossing each day.

Remember, kids should brush at least twice a day and floss once a day to help keep their smiles healthy. Encourage others to take the challenge – and, hey, parents and teachers, you can certainly join in. The Captain defends against plaque and tooth decay for all of us.
