Glastonbury, Connecticut: Chambers of Commerce and their members all over the State will be lacing up their sneakers starting April 1st for some friendly competition – all in the name of good health and giving back! Connecticut-based health risk expert, BlueBack Health is proud to present the 3rd Annual Chamber Wellness Challenge. With nearly one third of local and regional Chambers committed to date, the Challenge gives participating chambers a platform to re-energize and engage with their membership and communities in a safe, impactful way.

As we emerge from an unprecedented period that turned business, priorities, and plans upside down, one must acknowledge the massive, collective impact on mental and physical health across all sectors of the population. BlueBack Health identified this critical need before the pandemic and elected to provide a wellness program encouraging healthy habits, movement, consistency, and connection with our communities. “We’re thrilled to partner with Charter Oak State College on the Chamber Wellness Challenge. As Connecticut’s only public online college, they have a long history of working with employers and their employees to deliver workforce- relevant degrees. They have a particular expertise in health care programs that is unique in the state. Having Charter Oak State College as our Title Sponsor shows the confidence we have in their integrity, expertise, and commitment as thought leaders during an ever-changing and rapidly shifting climate. Quite frankly, their ability to deliver true value to our participants is unmatched- and we can’t wait to unveil what we have in store” said Eric Thompson, Principal at BlueBack Health.

Ed Klonoski, President of Charter Oak State College said, “Partnering with BlueBack Health is natural for Charter Oak, given our commitment to providing high quality, affordable degrees, and credentials to Connecticut’s workforce. Like BlueBack, we work closely with Connecticut’s employers and their employees to provide solutions to their workforce needs. We believe the Chamber Wellness Challenge is an excellent way to engage employers and their employees in all aspects to wellness – physical, emotional, financial, and occupational. We look forward to providing educational content and webinars throughout this challenge, drawing upon our unique expertise in health care programs.
