To ensure a high level of service to organizations renting the Nexus Center, Klingberg has promoted Marci Marciniec to the position of Nexus Operations Director. A longtime employee of Klingberg Family Centers, Marci is passionate about taking care of customers and the details that make a successful event. She has collaborated with restaurants and service providers to help outside groups have a great experience at Klingberg Nexus.

The creation of Klingberg Nexus addresses a dramatic shift in the use of the space, originally built back in 1922. “It became apparent that this space could be an important component of Klingberg’s program/service delivery array, especially as we continue to develop our training offerings,” says President/CEO Steven Girelli. The Klingberg Nexus Professional Development Center was funded by the State of Connecticut Bonding Commission and the Maximilian and Marion Hoffman Foundation.

Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private, nonprofit multi-service agency providing help to thousands of persons across Connecticut each year through twenty distinct programs. Klingberg’s mission is to help build healing relationships that empower children and families to reach their full potential. Klingberg’s programs are designed to extend hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, severe family problems, and mental health issues. The main campus is located in New Britain, Connecticut.  For more information about Klingberg Nexus, visit www.KlingbergNexus.org or contact Marci at MarciM@Klingberg.org or 860-832-5554.
