Hartford, CT – Leadership Greater Hartford has elected Karen Lott to serve on its Board of Directors.
Appointed as the Executive Director of the Women’s League Child Development Center in 2018, Lott is a champion of school reform. Throughout her 20- year career in education, Ms. Lott has worked to transform historically low performing schools in urban areas. Lott has served as a principal at every grade level from pre-school to high school in urban school districts.
As the Executive Director of the Women’s League Child Development Center, Lott seeks to provide the highest quality of early childhood education programming for children to prepare them for success in school and future endeavors. Her work continues to be dedicated to eradicating the achievement and opportunity gaps that many children of color confront in formal education settings.
Karen participated in two LGH programs in 2018, Executive Orientation Program and Summit.
