More than $1.5 million Provides to Support Work Around Food Insecurity, Emergency Shelter and Homelessness Prevention
Hartford, Conn. (April 27, 2022) — The Local Board of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) in Hartford County has awarded more than $1.5 million through Phases 39 and American Rescue Plan Act – Regular (ARPA-R), according to United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. These funds were designated to 27 non-profit organizations and municipalities in Hartford County working with food, emergency shelters and homelessness prevention.
