Designed for executives who are relatively new to the area, and others recently promoted to top jobs requiring more community connection, Leadership Greater Hartford’s Executive Orientation Program (EOP) provides a comprehensive overview of the region’s issues, institutions, and leadership.  This five-session program is an excellent way to meet the region’s influential leaders and discover places that make Greater Hartford an amazing place to live, work and play. Bi-weekly sessions offer tours, meals, and speakers in intimate settings enabling participants to interact with each other and invited speakers in a meaningful way.

Matt Hart, a Spring 2022 EOP alum and Executive Director of Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) shares:

“LGH’s Executive Orientation Program (EOP) was an extremely valuable experience for me beginning a new position as Executive Director of the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG). LGH provides its EOP participants with an informative introduction to our capital city and helpful connections to talented people working in the arts, culture, human services, government, and business sectors. Plus, the program tours enable you to see different parts of the city and to become more familiar with its diverse neighborhoods and communities. I now feel better equipped to serve our region in my new role. Thanks, LGH, for an engaging, inspiring, and educational experience!”
