Breana Vessichio, an attorney in Reid and Riege, P.C.’s Business Services Practice, has been named a Commissioner of the Hartford Business Improvement District (Hartford BID).  Breana joins a group of 22 other Commissioners who serve as the executive body of the District.  Jordan Polon, Executive Director of Hartford BID said, “We are thrilled to welcome Breana Vessichio to the Hartford BID Board of Commissioners.  Breana’s knowledge of governance structure, policy, and process coupled with her experience with commercial real estate, nonprofit organizations, and business services make her an outstanding addition to our organization’s board.”

Hartford BID is a nonprofit organization that works to enhance a District area of 60 blocks by providing services that supplement those provided by the City of Hartford.  Hartford BID works in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office, Police Department, Public Works Department, and more than 100 property owners and organizations in the District to achieve its mission of “bringing about positive and lasting change by enhancing the economic vitality and quality of life within the District.”  For more information, please visit https://hartford.com/.

Breana advises clients on all aspects of their business planning, including entity formation, financing, buying and selling, and succession planning.  She also works with companies on contractual matters and real estate transactions.  Breana earned her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from University of Saint Joseph.  In addition to her position with HBID, Breana is on the board of directors of Interval House, a nonprofit organization in Connecticut dedicated to ending domestic violence.
