Shipman & Goodwin Welcomes Accomplished Tech Attorney Marc Lombardi to Lead Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation Practice
HARTFORD, Conn. (April 26, 2022) – Shipman & Goodwin LLP is pleased to announce that Marc Lombardi has joined the firm as the leader of its Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation practice group. Lombardi brings more than 20 years in healthcare, emerging technologies, and data innovation to the firm.
Joining Shipman to lead the firm’s expanding Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation practice group, Lombardi will lead a multi-disciplinary group of lawyers dedicated to the big data issues companies face in securing and responsibly managing their digital assets and consumer information. In addition to his many years in healthcare technology and privacy, Lombardi is a former software architect with a strong tech background. In everyday practice, he tackles client concerns ranging from data management, protection, disposal and regulatory compliance to incident/breach responses, notifications, post-breach investigation and litigation. Marc and the Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation team will guide Shipman clients through each step of the data privacy and protection lifecycle.
