The Governor is asking businesses to take a pause for 10 minutes on July 10 at 10 a.m. to complete the 2020 U.S. Census. Although Connecticut has the highest response rate in the Northeastern states, Hartford has the lowest response rate of Northeastern cities. Considering the census figures determine funding for 55 federal programs including Medicare, Medicaid, emergency preparedness and school lunch programs, Hartford needs to be counted. Both people and businesses depend on an accurate Census. Take the Census today: 2020 Census  The last day to respond to the census is October 31.
