| A great big thank you to all who contributed to our back-to-school supply drive to benefit children and youth in Wheeler’s Foster Care programs. Many families attended the giveaway event on August 13, and dozens of individuals and organizations contributed, including Waterbury Regional Chamber, Bristol NAACP, Junior Achievement of Southwest New England, Webster Bank in the Bristol Plaza, Lisa Bohman of the Avon/Canton Chamber Of Commerce, The Mazzei Family, Danielle Brennan, Debbie Lombardi from Barter Business Unlimited, Gina Pellrine from Rodd’s On The Go, several Wheeler employees, as well as their friends and family members, Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut, and many other anonymous donors. Special thanks to Daren’s Ice Cream for participating in this event every year, providing delicious treats for our families at a reduced rate.
