March Madness in Hartford!

XLcenterBBMarch Madness is coming to Hartford! Eight teams will extend their season into March and visit Hartford and the XL Center March 21 and 23 for the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds.

Four first-round games take place March 21 and two second-round games will be played March 23. Two teams playing in Hartford will advance to the regional round the following weekend.

March 20 – Open Practice

The NCAA will host an Open Practice event from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the XL Center. The free event is open to the public. Doors open at 10:00 a.m.

March 21, 22, 23 – Party on Pratt

Pratt Street will feature a pop-up pub featuring breweries and distilleries, live music, art performances, and local vendors! Sponsored by Hartford.com, the Hartford Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Hartford Arts Council, the event is free and open to the public. (All ages are welcome, must be 21+ to drink.)
