MetroHartford AllianceWelcomes Eight New Strategic Partners
Hartford, Conn. (May 22, 2012) –The MetroHartford Alliance, the Region’s economic development leader and the City’s Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to have welcomed eight new strategic partners during the first quarter of 2012 (Q1 2012).
“We are pleased to welcome eight new strategic partners and their investment in the growth of the Hartford Region,” Oz Griebel, President and CEO, MetroHartford Alliance, said. “As we work to achieve the goals outlined in our Strategic Plan for 2012-2015 and ensure that the region competes aggressively and successfully for jobs, capital and talent, our Leadership Investors and Strategic Partners play critical roles, and we rely on them for their ideas and energy.”
Among the Alliance’s newest Strategic Partners, are:
- Bradley, Foster & Sargent, an independently owned investment advisory firm that offers high-quality investment management services to individuals, families and institutions. In addition to its institutional clients, Bradley, Foster & Sargent works with entrepreneurs who seek long-term capital appreciation.
- Co-Communications, a full-service marketing and public relations firm that helps organizations deliver the right messages to the right audiences. The team at Co-Communications works collaboratively with its clients to develop targeted communications that support business goals.
- Community Health Resources, the leading non-profit, community-based behavioral health provider in Central and Eastern Connecticut offering a full range of comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services to children, adults and families.
- ForeSite Technologies, which offers a full line of technology services for network support and web development. In business since 1997, ForeSite strives to build real partnerships with their clients and employees.
- Gengras Motor Cars, a third-generation family-owned business which began in 1930. Gengras Motor Cars has grown from one business in 1999 to eight in 2011, representing 11 different brands with locations in East Hartford, Meriden and West Springfield.
- The Jackson Laboratory, an independent, nonprofit organization that focus on mammalian genetics research to advance human health. Jackson Lab’s mission is to discover the genetic basis for preventing, treating and curing human disease and to enable research for the global biomedical community.
- New Britain Rock Cats, the Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Based in New Britain, the Rock Cats compete in the Eastern League.
- YardeZone, which formed to help companies become more successful, more profitable and more fun. YardeZone’s clients become winners in their markets and within their industry by becoming the company of choice to do business with and the employer of choice to work for.
