Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services Cluster (CT IFS), a business organization comprised of Connecticut’s most-recognized insurance and financial services companies, will this January present one of the largest career fairs in Connecticut. To be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015
at the Hartford Marriott Downtown in Hartford, the career fair, entitled “Get Hired,”
is open to all college students seeking job opportunities in Connecticut’s insurance and financial services sector. Get Hired
will feature senior human resources recruiters from 24 regional, national and globally recognized IFS companies. The event will run from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will also include a roundtable discussion with local IFS executives.
“This fourth annual event exemplifies the breadth and depth of one of Connecticut’s most dynamic and long-standing industries. For January 6, we have the highest number of participating companies since Get Hired
’s inception, and 2014’s event saw more than 460 students seeking internships and entry-level full-time roles in Connecticut’s IFS sector,” said Susan Winkler, Executive Director of CT IFS. “We expect the 2015 event to be another stellar showcase of young talent connecting with the industry, and we look forward to an insightful conversation with executives leading human resources, auditing, underwriting, technology and finance practices.”
