Hartford, Conn. (March 4, 2015)
– Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Business Champions Awards, which honor privately held companies in the Hartford Region that have demonstrated best practices and significant achievements in revenue growth, innovation, workforce practices, community involvement and/or start-ups.
Companies may self-nominate, and organizations are also encouraged to nominate their deserving clients, customers or vendors. Nominees and winners alike participate in the annual Business Champions Awards breakfast, which gathers more than 400 business owners and leaders each year to enjoy a champagne toast and original video segments showcasing the winners. This year's breakfast will be held Thursday, June 4, at the Connecticut Convention Center.
The Business Champions Awards are produced through a partnership of the MetroHartford Alliance and Hartford Business Journal. Last year's award recipients included Numotion, which received an award for revenue growth; Windsor Marketing Group, for workforce practices; Fichman Eye Center, for community involvement; ACT Group and CyVek, Inc. (a tie) for innovation; Premier Accounting Group, LLC, for best new start-up; and BL Companies, Inc., which received an overall award.
