Emily Knipe, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, interior designer at Amenta Emma Architects, has earned her WELL AP credential. This new certification denotes expertise in the WELL Building Standard, and a commitment to advancing human health and wellness in buildings and communities.
Emily has applied WELL principles in recent senior living projects at Avery Heights in Hartford, CT, and Duncaster Retirement Community in Bloomfield, CT – both recognized by the AIA Design for Aging Review. “With WELL concepts applied in senior living spaces, not only do the residents benefit; their families and caregivers reap the rewards as well,” says Knipe.
