This April, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center celebrated its 18th year of giving children in Connecticut the care they deserve. Our mission dates back 116 years, when the hospital was originally founded in 1898 as the Newington Home for the Incurables.
This milestone is not only a testament to our substantial growth and influence on pediatric healthcare but also, an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and bright future as we strive to meet our vision to make Connecticut’s children the healthiest in the country.
