The Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (CBA-YLS) has appointed Robinson+Cole lawyers Kathleen E. Dion, Amanda Gordon Schreiber, and Alisha N. Sullivan to leadership roles.
Kathleen E. Dion has been named co-chair of the Education Committee. She is a member of Robinson+Cole's Education Industry Team. Ms. Dion represents private schools, colleges, and universities in a variety of civil matters, such as allegations of staff misconduct, Title IX matters, and tuition disputes.
Amanda Gordon Schreiber has been elected to serve as the CBA-YLS Treasurer. She is a member of Robinson+Cole's Health and Benefits Litigation Group, representing managed care organizations and health, life, and disability insurers. By assuming the role of treasurer, Ms. Gordon Schreiber enters the CBA-YLS officer track and may eventually, pending annual election results, be elevated to lead the group as Chair.
Alisha N. Sullivan, a member of Robinson+Cole’s Employee Benefits and Compensation Group, has been named the co-chair of the CBA-YLS Women in the Law Committee. The Committee plays a key role in planning the annual Pathways to Leadership for Women Lawyers dinner. Hosted in partnership with the CBA Women in the Law Section, the signature event includes the presentation of the Ladder Award that recognizes a female attorney in Connecticut who has demonstrated exceptional leadership affecting women.
