The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) installed Robinson+Cole lawyer Alaine C. Doolan as Secretary during the CBA Annual Luncheon as part of the association’s Connecticut Legal Conference held on June 12, 2017 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
Ms. Doolan is a member of Robinson+Cole's Intellectual Property and Technology Law Group. She focuses her practice primarily in the areas of intellectual property, brand management, corporate transactions, technology, and Internet-related law. Ms. Doolan works with clients from a broad range of industries, such as food and beverage, fashion and merchandising, software solutions, and health care.
“Alaine will be an outstanding addition to the leadership team and I look forward to working with her,” said incoming CBA President, Karen Demeola. “She has served in several roles within the CBA, including co-chair of our Intellectual Property Section, and has proven to be an engaged leader.”
The role of Secretary is an officer position held by a member of the association for a one-year term. As Secretary of the CBA, Ms. Doolan records the proceedings of the organization’s governing body, the House of Delegates, and prepares the minutes.
