KBE Ranked Among Top 400 National Contractors, Top New England Contractors by ENR

Farmington, Conn., July 26, 2017 – KBE Building Corporation is once again ranked as one of the top 400 contractors and as one of the top New England contractors by Engineering News-Record (ENR). The annual lists based on construction revenue have ranked KBE as number 345 and 16, respectively. ENR is a leading international magazine for the engineering and construction industry.

“We are honored to be included in the top 400 contractors and the top New England contractors lists by ENR,” said KBE Chief Operating Officer Jim Culkin. “We’ve been ranked by ENR among the nation’s top 400 contractors each year for at least the last 20 years.”

Among the recent projects keeping KBE in these top rankings are University of Connecticut’s 210,000 sf Next Generation Connecticut Residence Hall in Storrs, Conn., the new 300,000 sf home for Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport, Conn., and the 136,400 sf University Town Center and Safeway in Hyattsville, Md. The company has continued to grow, and in response to its expansion, KBE named four new principals earlier in 2017.
