Murtha Cullina LLP is proud to announce that two of its attorneys have been named 2017 “New Leaders in the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune. Graham T. Coates and Kelly A. Trahan were selected for this honor for their outstanding legal work, pro bono efforts, service to the bar and community involvement.
Mr. Coates is a member of the Energy, Renewable Energy and Environmental Practice Groups. He represents merchant generators, renewable energy developers, quasi-public agencies, industrial and commercial utility customers and water utilities in both regulatory and transactional matters. Mr. Coates appears regularly before the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and the Connecticut Siting Council.
Ms. Trahan is a member of the Banking, Community Banking, and Real Estate Practice Groups. She represents clients in all aspects of commercial real estate and asset-based transactions, including financing, complex acquisitions, dispositions, development and leasing in the areas of retail, office, multi-dwelling residential, healthcare and senior care, among others. In 2016, Ms. Trahan received the 40 Under 40 Award from the Fairfield County Business Journal.
The Connecticut Law Tribune will honor the New Leaders in the Law at the annual Connecticut Legal Awards Dinner on October 3.
