On September 27, nine Robinson+Cole lawyers and staff members volunteered their time to plan, purchase, prepare, and serve lunch at MANNA Community Meals (Community Meals), Hands On Hartford's soup kitchen, providing services for Hartford's homeless, working poor, and elderly populations.
For the past four years, Robinson+Cole lawyer Candace M. Cunningham has coordinated the firm’s monthly volunteer service with Community Meals. Ms. Cunningham is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development Group where she practices commercial real estate law, with an emphasis on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) lender financing for apartments, senior housing, and affordable housing nationwide.
Hands on Hartford is a social service nonprofit organization that serves Hartford’s neediest residents in the areas of food, housing, and economic security. Community Meals operates out of Christ Church Cathedral, located at 45 Church Street in Downtown Hartford and serves over 500 people per month which includes homeless individuals and families along with those who are considered to be the “working poor.”
