Junior Achievement of Southwest New England announced today that it will honor Founder and CEO of Corbin Advisors, Rebecca Corbin Loree, with the inaugural Entrepreneur Award at the Hartford Business Hall of Fame. This award was created to honor individuals who have demonstrated success as an entrepreneur and who serve as an inspiration to the young people JA inspires and empowers to create businesses of their own.
“Ms. Corbin Loree’s passion and success as an entrepreneur make her the ideal candidate for this prestigious recognition. We are delighted to honor her with the first ever Entrepreneur award,” said Donald Allan, Jr., EVP & Chief Financial Officer at Stanley Black & Decker.
JA is a non-profit organization that partners business professionals and community members with schools to provide educational programs centered around financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. Programs are delivered to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Last year, JA served more than 43,000 students in Connecticut.
The event will be held on April 11, 2018 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
