Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Joseph D. Szerejko as an Associate in the Litigation Department. He is also a member of the Firm’s Municipal and Land Use Practice Groups.
Mr. Szerejko represents individuals, municipalities, municipal officials, and business entities, in various litigation matters. He advises municipalities and municipal officials on land use enforcement matters and labor and employment matters. He has argued pretrial motions in Connecticut Superior Court and he has presented evidence on behalf of municipalities at administrative hearings and at hearings before the Connecticut Superior Court.
Mr. Szerejko is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Litigation Section. He is listed as a “New England Super Lawyers Rising Star” in the area of Litigation.
Mr. Szerejko received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Bates College and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In law school, he was an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. He also served as the Interscholastic Competition Director on the Connecticut Moot Court Board. He was the recipient of several CALI Excellence awards including awards for Legal and Cultural Issues in Cyberspace, Complex Litigation and Copyright in the Digital Age.
