Chrysalis Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of six new members to the agency’s Board of Directors: Rosendo Garza, Jr., Frank Giguere, Thomas Kennedy, Robert Lowry, Christopher McKinnon and Sharon Williams have joined the Board which oversees the work of Chrysalis Center, Inc., a private nonprofit socially innovative, multi- service organization serving more than 4,000 individuals and families living in the State of Connecticut.
The Board provides leadership which supports Chrysalis Center’s mission to deliver community support services to people who live in poverty that struggle with mental illness, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, release from incarceration and homelessness.
Rosendo Garza, Jr. of Hartford is an Associate Attorney at Day Pitney LLP in Hartford, CT and a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, where he serves as the Assistant Officer-in-Charge in the Readiness Support Program-3 in Fort Devens, MA. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago.
Frank Giguere of West Hartford is the Enterprise Information Architect at Hartford Steam Boiler, based in Hartford, CT. He received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Connecticut.
Thomas Kennedy, CFA of West Hartford is Senior Vice President in the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities at The Hartford Investment Company. He received his Business Mastery Certificate from The Hartford and University of Connecticut and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Pennsylvania State University.
Robert Lowry of West Hartford is Senior Research Analyst at Fiduciary Investment Advisors in Windsor, CT. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Bucknell University.
Christopher McKinnon of Newington is an Analyst in the Regulatory Planning Division of Eversource Energy based in Berlin, CT. He received his Master of Science in Communications and Management from Bay Path University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Connecticut State University.
Sharon Williams of Windsor is the Assistant Director, Financial Planning & Analysis at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company, based in Hartford, CT. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Connecting State University.
