Scott Bartelson, Management Associate at Hartford Stage, has been selected to participate in the Community Arts Education Leadership Institute (CAELI).
Bartelson is one of 26 individuals representing community arts education organizations nationwide chosen through a competitive process to participate in CAELI, a leadership program designed for individuals in the non-profit arts education sector. The program is run by the National Guild for Community Arts Education in collaboration with Partners in Performance, Inc.
Over the course of eight months, Bartelson will have access to creative resources designed to advance leadership skills through a sequential curriculum which includes a five-day, in-person seminar at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia, one-on-one coaching with top trainers and practitioners, and virtual workshops. This curriculum will take an introspective dive into how being a leader impacts the personal and the professional.
At the conclusion of the program, Bartelson will join an alumni network of more than 200 members which offers peer mentorship and resources for continued development.
