Want to hit the links while raising funds for a good cause? Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford for its 31st Annual Golf Tournament on September 23rd at Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford. With its beautiful layout, the course is considered one of the best in Connecticut. All funds raised support the Clubs’ many programs that enable young people in Hartford to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
“This tournament is much more than a round of golf. The funds raised help provide opportunities – from meals to homework help to internships - for more than 8,000 kids every year. In doing this, we give our kids a better chance of graduating from high school and going to college, and transitioning to become responsible adults,” said Sam Gray, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.
U.S. Bank is the Tournament’s Presenting Sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.
There are a variety of ways to support this event, including foursome sponsorships, tee signs and auction donations. For more information and to register, please contact Dawn Veillette Diana, Director of Resource Development at 860-929-7669 or events@bgchartford.org, or visit the Clubs’ website at www.bgchartford.org.
