YWCA Hartford Region is pleased to present The Denise L. Money Conference for Women in partnership with the Connecticut State Treasurer’s Office on Saturday, October 26th at Marriott Hartford Downtown, located at 200 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford. This half-day conference is designed to address the special financial challenges women face in their work and personal lives and focuses on money management, investment strategies and retirement planning. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. This event if free, but registration is required!
The day will begin with breakfast and a keynote address “Creating a Legacy: It’s Not About Me” by Medina Jett, JD, MBA, Founder & President of ICSGroup, LLC. Attendees can then choose to attend one of six workshops featuring recognized leaders in the financial services industry, who will provide insight to help women implement effective money management strategies. The conference also features a financial services expo and time for networking.
Established in 2002 as a partnership between YWCA Hartford Region and the Connecticut State Treasurer’s Office this annual free event, named after former State Treasurer Denise L.
