The MetroHartford Alliance collaborates with investors and partners to elevate the Hartford Region through economic development, community engagement, and local chamber support. Our work is driven by four key initiatives: the Connecticut Health Council (CHC), Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (CT IFS), Hartford Chamber of Commerce, and HYPE (Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs). Through these initiatives, we address shared challenges and foster growth, making Hartford a vibrant and thriving community.

CT IFS
INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL SERVICES
Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (CT IFS) was established in 2003 as a statewide initiative of the MetroHartford Alliance and works closely with the state. Representing 23 member companies, we are the driving force behind Connecticut’s globally recognized insurance and financial services sector.
Connecticut Health Council
HEALTHCARE SECTOR
Connecticut is nationally recognized for healthcare, but those invested in the sector know there’s always more work to be done. The Connecticut Health Council (CHC) brings public, private, and nonprofit leaders around a common table, providing them with the information and support necessary so that they can address the state’s most pressing healthcare opportunities, together.

TALENT RETENTION AND ATTRACTION
Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) is a come as you are, experience-based networking group, designed for the modern young professional. We curate exclusive events and networking opportunities that fuel social growth, personal and professional development, civic engagement, and community involvement.

LOCAL CHAMBER SUPPORT
