The Wadsworth is open and welcoming visitors noon-8pm on Fridays and noon-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Advance registration is recommended via thewadsworth.org but not required. Face masks are required to enter the museum and must be worn at all times inside the museum. Meet in front of the museum shop. Part 2: Online Lightroom & Photography Editing Workshop will take place September 19 from 10-11:30am. $50; $35 members. Register at thewadsworth.orgSummer Lawn Party: Featuring Cafeteria RadioFriday, September 17; 5-8pm | OutdoorsCelebrate the end of summer with our final lawn party of the season. Join Cafeteria Radio as they activate the front lawn with DJs. Revisionist Films will premiere unseen Leonardo Drew footage that highlights the artist's work and creative process. A basketball hoop on Atheneum Square North brings the party around the building. Free. Cash bar and food trucks on-site for refreshments and snacks. Curator Patricia Hickson untangles the absurd and often astonishing imagery that Chagoya devises in his printed work to explain his assessment of contemporary political, economic, and social life. Curator Linda Roth explores the ivories in Stories in Ivory and Wood Told by Master Carvers. Free with museum admission.
