“Connecticut continues to lead the way in addressing the intersection of climate risk, innovation, and insurance,” said Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Andrew N. Mais. “We created this summit to help ensure the insurance sector remains resilient, innovative, and prepared to serve and protect consumers in a rapidly changing world.”
“Climate-readiness for what mother nature may bring is a strategic focus of the insurance industry.” said Susan Winkler, Vice President and Executive Director for CT IFS. “What’s unique about the Insuring the Future event is the confluence of insurance leaders who answer that challenge daily in the Insurance Capital and then establish best practices for the U.S. and the world. We can’t wait to share that knowledge with the key U.S. regulators and audience again this year.”
“Hartford is the Insurance Capital of the World - not just in name, but in action. The innovation, talent, and leadership driving the global insurance industry are happening right here,” said David Griggs, President & CEO, MetroHartford Alliance. “Insuring the Future is more than an event; it’s a powerful platform to convene thought leadership and shape the insurance industry into the future.”
