Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon Welcomes 2026 Official Charity Partners

More than $9.8 million has been raised for community causes through the event

East Hartford, CT, April 17, 2026 – The Hartford Marathon Foundation is proud to welcome a strong group of Official Charity partners for the 2026 Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon, Team 26.2 Relay and Charity 5K taking place on Saturday, October 10. Supporters from 29 local nonprofits will engage runners, walkers and volunteers to raise funds and awareness around Connecticut’s premier race event. Official Charities support community and philanthropic initiatives across the region, offering race participants a built-in platform to bring deeper meaning and greater positive impact to their race.

Returning again in 2026 is the HMF Community Partner Program, providing opportunities for companies to engage in the event and direct a donation to an Official Charity of choice. More than $9.8 million has been raised for charity through the event since its inception in 1994. With approximately $300,000 in charity funds raised last year, the 2025 Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon also generated an economic boost of approximately $14.6 million for the region, hosting more than 10,000 race participants.
