Village awarded two-year, $2.5 million grant to back life-changing mental health services

Hartford, Conn. - January 7, 2026 - Thanks to the generosity of the Greater Hartford Gives Foundation (formerly the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving), children, adults and families across the region who are facing challenges with their mental health and wellbeing will be able to access the critical support they need when they need it most. The Foundation has awarded The Village for Families & Children (The Village) more than $2.5 million to strengthen services that have a transformative impact on tens of thousands of people each year.
