Hartford HealthCare Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Press Conference at Fairfield Cancer Center
Survivors, doctors, and dignitaries gather to spotlight early detection and honor those impacted.
In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Hartford HealthCare Fairfield Cancer Center—a Care Partner of Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center—hosted a special press conference bringing together elected officials, clinicians, and survivors on October 8.
The event honored those affected by breast cancer and emphasized the life-saving importance of early detection.
Comptroller Sean Scanlon emceed the program, joined by speakers from Hartford HealthCare’s Fairfield Cancer Center and survivors sharing their personal journeys.
Held at Hartford HealthCare’s state-of-the-art, 25,000-square-foot Fairfield Cancer Center located at 4185 Black Rock Turnpike, the event also showcased how the center is redefining patient care through advanced technology, personalized and coordinated treatment plans, and groundbreaking research.
